James graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May of 2017. During his time there, he was actively involved in oral advocacy and mock trial organizations, completing two years in the National Trial Competition program, including captaining Tulsa’s team during his third year of law school. James was one of a handful of graduates each year selected for membership in the Order of Barristers, the national honor society for law school graduates who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. He also served as an elected representative to the Student Bar Association his first and third years of law school, and served as Executive Treasurer his second year.
After graduation, James was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in September of 2017, and began working at the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, he accrued experience in all levels of criminal prosecution, including juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony cases, while honing litigation and trial skills. Due to these experiences, James is able to provide assistance to clients requiring representation in criminal matters.
Prior to law school, James attended Oklahoma Christian University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in April of 2014, with honors. He was a member of PI Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society and served as President of the chapter his senior year.
