Jeremy Ward

Jeremy practices in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas handling complex litigation and transactions. He has tried more than 15 cases before judges and juries.  Since 2018 he has served as Special Outside Counsel for the Tulsa Metropolitan Utility Authority (TMUA), Regional Metropolitan Utility Authority (RMUA), and Tulsa Utility Board (TUB). As Special Outside Counsel Jeremy provides legal guidance regarding corporate and trust governance, commercial, construction, and real estate transactions, and environmental law. Jeremy is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®. He has attained the highest peer-review rating a lawyer can receive for legal knowledge and ethical practices. In addition, since 2011 he has been a Super Lawyer Rising Star and in 2022 named a Super Lawyer in Construction Litigation.

Law School

While in law school, Jeremy was a member of TU’s honors fraternity Phi Delta Phi for academic success in law school. He was awarded CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Advanced Torts and International Petroleum Transactions for receiving the highest grades in the courses. His Energy Law Journal case note was published, “If It’s Worth a Dam, It’s “Navigable Waters”; A Proposed Revision of Section 3(8) of the FPA Derived from Decisions Followed in FPL Energy Maine Hydro LLC v. FERC.”  Jeremy also received the Energy Journal’s “Editorial Excellence” award in 2006 and previously interned for Federal Magistrate Judge Paul J. Cleary of the Northern District of Oklahoma.
