Kelsey Payton

Kelsey earned her undergraduate degree in Advertising from the University of Oklahoma in May 2013, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May 2016. During law school, Kelsey was actively involved in the SBA Special Events Committee, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, OU Law Golf Club and Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.

After passing the Oklahoma Bar Exam, Kelsey began her legal career as a Staff Attorney for a large insurance company in Oklahoma City. In 2021, she relocated to Tulsa to join a law firm specializing in medical malpractice and insurance defense. Kelsey is licensed to practice law in all Oklahoma state courts, as well as the Northern, Eastern, and Western federal district courts of Oklahoma. She is also admitted to practice in all Arkansas state courts, all Kansas state courts, and the Choctaw Nation.

Outside of her legal practice, Kelsey is passionate about animal rescue and actively volunteers and fosters with Puppy Haven Rescue in Bixby, Oklahoma. She was honored as a member of Oklahoma Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2025.
