Joe Farris and Jill Walker recently obtained a defense verdict for our client, an emergency room physician, after a 6 day jury trial in Lawton, Oklahoma. Plaintiff claimed that the Defendant doctor and the hospital (where he worked) were negligent in failing to diagnose an arterial occlusion in her lower leg. Plaintiff alleged that she suffered an amputation of her leg as a consequence. Both sides presented experts in the fields of emergency medicine and cardiothoracic surgery. Judge Scott Meaders presided over the trial in Comanche County.
